The 2007 New Year’s Reception of the Sweets Global Network once again brought together in Munich the most important personalities in the German confectionery industry. About 600 guests enjoyed the ambiance and the atmosphere of casual conversation and fascinating presentations. Armin Loacker and Christine Zuenelli-Loacker, as well as head of Intersnack, Dr.Werner Wolf, were honoured this year with the “SG Golden Watch” award.
This award honours personalities from the world of politics and business who have made particular contributions to the confectionery industry. It is considered the highest and most coveted tribute in the sector.

Armin Loacker is the senior partner and owner jointly with his sister Christine Zuenelli-Loacker. Together they have developed the company. In addition, the international sales manager, Manfred Kunold, has made great personal efforts during the last 20 years to consolidate the brand abroad.
