Enjoy an explosion of chocolaty delight
11 Tortina Original
2 eggs
60g sugar
100ml seed oil
220g all-purpose flour
1 sachet baking powder
150ml water
Sugar to taste
125g dark chocolate
Sprinkles to taste
1. Preheat a fan-assisted oven at 170°C (340F).
2. In a bowl, mix the sugar and eggs until you get a frothy mixture.
3. Add the flour and delicately fold into the mixture, then slowly add the seed oil and milk.
4. Crumble the Tortina Original into the mixture.
5. Mix the baking powder into the dough; pour into a greased and lined 23cm (11”) round baking tin. Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
6. Prepare the glaze by placing 150ml water and sugar in a pan; bring to a boil.
7. Add the dark chocolate and melt over low heat until it obtains a smooth and glossy texture.
8. Place the baking tin onto a wire rack and pour the glaze all over the “volcano”.
9. Add sprinkles to decorate your dessert.
