Technologies Driving the Change

The technologies we are working with:  

• the development of water-based inks, which do not yet exist for inline printing and are therefore prerequisites for reducing environmental impact;
•  the development of functional pre-types for direct printing on primary and secondary packaging;
• integration of a quality control system with emphasis on the correct display of ingredient and allergen information to ensure consumer safety;
• implementation of a digital twin to simulate and analyse production orders before they are actually associated on the particular production line. This would make it possible to assess the suitability of each order in terms of technical feasibility, cost optimisation and environmental impact.
