First-hand ingredients: rooted in respect and integrity

At Loacker, we believe goodness is a choice that starts at the origin. We know exactly where our raw materials come from and build long-term, direct partnerships with the people who grow them. We stick to what is real: genuine raw materials, selected with care and respect for our South Tyrolean baking tradition. We love the authentic taste that only nature offers, which is why we strictly say no to added flavorings, artificial colors, and hydrogenated fats, or preservatives. Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond our factories and reaches every corner of our value chain.

Fair and long-term partnerships with our suppliers

We prioritize sourcing our primary ingredients close to home in Italy, Austria, and Germany. We cultivate our own hazelnut orchards in Tuscany and process 100% Alpine milk in South Tyrol. These choices keep us rooted in our home in the Dolomites while reducing transport footprint. For ingredients that cannot grow in Europe—such as cocoa and vanilla—we work directly with trusted farming co-operatives and partners in South America, West Africa, and Madagascar.

What we aim to achieve

We’re committed to integrating ethical values across our supply chain and involve local communities by adopting responsible, corporate policies. Our priorities include:

Guaranteed Non-GMO integrity

Loacker - NON GMO certified

We don’t compromise on quality or authenticity. Every Loacker product is non-GMO certified. This applies to our plant-based ingredients (such as soy and corn), animal-derived ingredients (Alpine milk and eggs from non-GMO fed livestock), and recipe components.

Compliance is audited and certified annually by independent certification body FoodChain ID.
