We work with two suppliers who actively support small farming cooperatives through training and agronomic education. This helps improve cultivation practices and strengthens local communities.
Since 2019 we have established a direct partnership with a group of producers in the Sava region of northern Madagasca who are in contact with the communities of Marofototra, Marofinatra, and Andranalingoza. This ensures traceability and quality.
Our commitment in Madagascar goes far beyond cultivation. We invest in local development by building essential infrastructure, promoting the use of renewable energy by collaborating with ADES (Association pour le Développment de l'Energie Solaire Suisse-Madagascar) and encouraging virtuous behaviour to protect the rainforest.
We started our first direct vanilla farming project on the east cost of Madagascar, in Mananjary. We are currently farming five hectars and have the ambitious goal of covering 100% of our needs by 2030 - a goal rooted in transparency, fairness, and long-term vision.
