Hazelnuts define the signature taste of Loacker specialties. To secure long-term access to top-quality hazelnuts grown responsibly, we launched the "Noccioleti Italiani" initiative in 2011.
Since 2017, we cultivate our own hazelnut orchards on two dedicated Tuscan estates: Tenuta Corte Migliorina (Orbetello) and Tenuta Collelungo (Roccastrada). Today, our direct farming initiative covers 275 hectares, with a clear goal to expand our own cultivation to 400 hectares by 2030.
True goodness is built together. Beyond our own fields, we foster long-term partnerships with 80 local Italian farms managing 1,200 hectares under contract across Tuscany, Veneto, Umbria, and Lazio.
Through direct supply agreements, we purchase the entire harvest at a fair, transparent price model, providing local family farms with economic stability and agronomic support. This includes our strategic partnership launched in 2022 with Bonifiche Ferraresi, covering 400 hectares dedicated to sustainable hazelnut varieties.

We actively accompany our hazelnut producers toward integrated production—a hybrid approach combining conventional and organic practices that significantly reduces synthetic chemicals while enhancing soil health and farm profitability. Across our own estates and partner orchards, we implement concrete regenerative techniques: subsurface drip irrigation (applied at Corte Migliorina), foliar fertilization (applied at Corte Migliorina and Collelungo), nitrogen-fixing cover crops (applied on Cortona estates with Bonifiche Ferraresi), and in-field mulching.

In 2025, we completed 100% GPS mapping of all our producing partners. Using specialized supply chain software, every single batch of hazelnuts is digitally tracked from the individual orchard, through regional collection hubs, to final processing.
In 2026, together with many of our partner farmers, we joined an EU-recognized Producer Organisation. This milestone gives our farming partners greater contractual strength in the market while unlocking EU funding for environmental protection, quality research, and orchard innovation.
To preserve the delicate oils and flavor of our hazelnuts, we maintain full oversight across every step of the supply chain.
